Tuesday, January 24, 2012 0636 The Millersburg Fire Company #1 was dispatched for a structure fire on First Street in the township this morning at 0636.  Upon responding, Chief 20 (Snyder) was advised that the called stated they could smell an electrical odor in the basement.  Engine 20 arrived and investigated using Thermal Imaging Equipment and eventually narrowed the search to the breaker box.  Truck 20 was staged at the BG’s Market parking lot.  When the cover was removed from the breaker panel it was evident that there was an issue with the neutral bar, it was discolored and burned.  Power was shut off at the main and the homeowner was advised to contact an electrician to have the situation corrected.  All units went available at 0723.
