Box 203 was struck for a crash with injuries on the 2500 block of Route 209 in Upper Paxton Township this evening. Chief 20 (Petery) arrived on the scene with two vehicles involved with one confined. The Engine/Rescue arrived shortly after and began extrication efforts to free the patient that was confined while Millersburg EMS and EMTs from the Engine/Rescue provided patient care. COUROGEN, The Patriot-News January 13, 2010, 8:25AM Two Millersburg teens were injured just after 5 yesterday afternoon in a two-car crash at the intersection of Route 209 and Landis Drive in Upper Paxton Township, Dauphin County. State police said Kaitlyn J. Neubold, 18, and a 17-year-old male passenger in Neubold's car were taken by ambulance to Harrisburg Hospital after Neubold pulled her 2008 Ford Focus into the path of a 2002 Nissan Altima driven by Dane D. Snyder, 34, of Elizabethville. Neubold did not have proper clearance when she pulled out from the stop sign on Landis Drive in front of Snyder's car, police said. The impact knocked Neubold's car into a utility pole and left both vehicles with disabling damage. Neubold's injuries were described by police as moderate. Her passenger suffered minor injuries. Snyder and a 5-year-old girl in his car were not hurt. Police said the child was in a child safety seat and the other three were wearing seat belts. Neubold will be cited for a stop sign violation, police said.
