Engine 20 is a 2001 E-One Cyclone II Engine/Rescue with a 2000 GPM Hale pump with a Pneumax CAFS system.  Engine 20 has a 970 gallon water tank and a 30 gallon class-A foam tank.  Engine 20 has a full complement of Rescue equipment including two pre-connected hydraulic tools (spreader and cutter) and a portable simo-unit to which two more hydraulic tools can be connected.  Engine 20 has two hydraulic Rams, a strut system by Resque-Tech, an exothermic torch, air tools, wooden cribbing and synthetic plastic cribbing.   Engine 20 carries 1,400 feet of 5” hose, 500 feet of 3” hose, 4 pre-connected hand lines (2 CAFS, ...

Truck 20

  Sutphen
  1997

Is a 1997 Sutphen Mini-Tower with a 70+ foot tower ladder.  Truck 20 has a full complement of ground ladders and in addition, a 1,500 GPM Hale pump with 300 gallons of water.  Truck 20 has 4 saws on board (1 Partner Circular, 2 Cutter’s Edge and 1 Husqvarna chain), a full set of hand tools in the bucket and numerous pike poles and hooks.  Truck 20 also carries 1,000 feet of 5” hose, 800 feet of 3” hose and 2 pre-connected hand lines.  With a proper supply of water, Truck 20 can flow 1,500 GPM from the two nozzles in the bucket (750 GPM from each nozzle).  Truck 20 has seating for 6 and is equipped with 5 Scott NxG2 air-packs.

Engine 201

  E-One/International

Is a 1991 E-One International Engine with a 1,250 GPM Hale pump.  Engine 201 has a 1,000 gallon water tank and has 1,000 feet of 5” hose and 500 feet of 3” hose.  Engine 201 has 4 pre-connected hand lines.  Engine 201 is used mainly for fill sites since the arrival of Engine 20, but is second due on crashes and has a portable hydraulic simo unit with a combo (spreader/cutter) tool.  Engine 201 has seating for 5 and is equipped with 4 Scott NxG2 air-packs.

Attack 20

Is a 2006 Ford F-550 Guardian mini-pumper with a Odin Kodiak CAFS pump.  Attack 20 has a 250 gallon water tank and a 10 gallon class-A foam tank.  Attack 20 will have a complement of wild land firefighting tools as well as medical equipment for running medical calls.  Attack 20 will also be a first due structural fire truck in inclement weather.  Attack 20 has seating for 5 with 3 Scott NxG2 air-packs

Tanker 20

Is a 2002 E-One Freightliner Tanker with a 1,250 GPM Hale pump.  Tanker 20 has a 3,100 gallon water tank with a 3,500 gallon portable dump tank.  In addition, Tanker 20 is equipped with 2 pre-connected hand lines and a limited set of hand tools.  Tanker 20 has seating for 3 and is equipped with 2 Scott NxG2 air-packs.

Utility 20

  Ford Excursion

Is a 2001 Ford Excursion.  This unit is primarily used for medical assists, personnel transport and hauling Boat 20.  Utility 20 will also be utilized as a command vehicle from time to time and for fire prevention by towing the Safety Trailer.  Utility 20 has seating for 8.

Trailer 20

  Scotty

Is a 2002 Scotty Fire Safety Trailer that has been outfitted to serve as a safety house for fire prevention.  This trailer is used by the company at public relations functions and is loaned out from time to time to other organizations and companys for open houses and kids fairs to teach fire and community safety.  The trailer is equipped with three rooms most occupied by children, a living room, an operating kitchen with appliances and a child\'s bedroom.  This trailer is equipped with a smoke machine, a 911 phone system, heated doors and other safety teaching tools.  It also comes complete with a "weather smart" package that is used to simulate seve...

Hose Cart

 
  1901

 The hose cart was one of the Millersburg Fire Company's first pieces of firefighting equipment.  This hand pulled hose cart was purchased at the turn of the 20th century and has remained with the Millersburg Fire Company for over 100 years and is occasionally paraded at special events.

Original Apparatus

  American LaFrance and Ford
  1922

Purchased in 1922 to replace the hand drawn carts, these were the first modern motorized fire apparatus for Millersburg.  The American LaFrance Type 48 Triple Combination Pumper, Serial# 4135 was purchased for $9,500 and had a 600 gallon tank.  ALF Records indicate that this pumper was Shipment Order 76388 and was shipped on 3/24/1923.  It was sold in 1948 for $250 when it was replaced by D200 and D201.  The Ford was a Chemical Hose Wagon that served until 1929 when it was replaced with a new American LaFrance Type 91 Foamite Engine.  ALF Records indicate the Type 91 Foamite Engine was Serial# L-319, Shipment Order 25972 and was ...

Engine D201

  1948

 This rig was purchased in 1948 and placed in service in February 1949 to replace the aging 1922 and 1929 American LaFrance engines.  The engine had a 500 Gallon Tank and a 500 GPM Rotary Gear Pump.  This engine served with it's twin, D200, until the early 1990s.  Currently owned by Tim Myers of Duncannon and has participated in various parades including Pump Primers.

Engine D200

  1949

 The famous "Moose" engine.  Donated by the Loyal Order of the Moose in 1948 to replace the aging American LaFrance engines.  This engine had a 500 Gallon tank and a 600 GPM two stage centrifugal pump.This rig, with it's twin D201, served until the early 1990's.  Currently owned by Chief 20 (Doug Snyder) and paraded at various events including Pump Primers.

Engine 20

  Hahn
  1974

The Hahn was purchased in 1974 to augment the aging Oren engines and was the first major apparatus purchase since 1949.  The Hahn had a 750 GPM pump and a 500 gallon tank.  The Hahn engine was in service until 2001 when the current Engine 20 was placed in service.  The Hahn was then sold to Carsonville where it served as Engine 19-1 for several years.  The Hahn is currently owned by Tim Myers of Duncannon and can be seen in various parades including Pump Primers.

Attack 20

A 1979 Emergency One/GMC Attack Pumper designated as Attack 20, this pumper provided a quick response truck with a short wheel base that allowed for access to narrow alleys and country roads. In the following years the Attack truck was outfitted with the latest in Hydraulic Rescue tools “Jaws of Life.”

Air-Lite 20

  Chevrolet
  1982

Built by the members of the Millersburg Fire Company in 1982.  Unit had a generator and SCBA Air Compressor mounted in the box.  Upon it's retirement by the Millersburg Fire Company, the unit was then used by the Dauphin County HazMat team.  The unit was last seen as a training prop at the Shumaker Public Safety Center at HACC.

Tanker 20

  White/General
  1982

 The White/General tanker had a 4,000 gallon tank and was replaced by the 1989 Freightliner Tanker.  This was the first tanker for the Millersburg Fire Company and was purchased by the Lower Mahanoy Fire Company in Dalmatia, Northumberland County.  Dalmatia retired this tanker in 2011 with the purchase of a newer tanker.  The tanker was last seen in the scrap yard at Jeff's Scrap/Recycling in Paxinos, PA.

Truck 20

  Spartan/Pierce
  1974

 Millersburg re-entered the truck company business in 1989 with the purchase of a 1974 Spartan Tele-Squirt.  The truck was refurbished and put on a Pierce chassis and painted the white over red scheme to match the rest of the apparatus.  Old Truck 20 had a 1500 GPM pump and a 500 gallon tank.  Old Truck 20 was in service until 1997 when the current Truck 20 was purchased.  The truck was sold to Martin's Corner and was painted lime green and served them until the mid-2000s when the truck was purchased by the Falkville Fire Department in Alabama where it is presumably still in service.

Tanker 20

This tanker replaced the 1982 White/General and served until 2002 when the current tanker was purchased.  This tanker was purchased by the Sacramento Fire Company in Schuylkill County.

Rescue 20

  1993

 Purchased in 1993, Rescue 20 served until 2001 when the current Engine 20 was purchased as an Engine/Rescue.  Rescue 20 now serves the Adwolfe Fire Department as Truck 753 (http://www.adwolfefire.com/appart.htm)

Brush 20

  1985

Brush 20 was an ex-military truck that was converted to be used as a Brush unit and was outfitted with a full complement of wildland firefighting equipment and was in service until 2007 when the current Attack 20 was purchased.  Brush 20 was purchased by the Berrysburg & Community Fire Company and serves them presently.
